Being a dypcopian be like...

Hi there. Since last few months we are facing a problem that we never thought of Covid-19. A virus that has become an inseparable part of our lives and now we have to learn and live with it. But, along with all the deadly circumstances, covid-19 has bought new opportunities for those who are working in healthcare and pharma sector. Especially, the pharma industry has become of huge importance and hence on this platform students are also focusing on pharma sector as their career choice. But it is important to choose your college wisely. Being a pharmacist myself, I know the importance of learning from a right college, because along with the academics the values that you learn from your college help you to be a better person. Some colleges only concentrate on their academics and some colleges focus on academics as well as student development.

I completed my graduation from Dr. D.Y.Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi. A college where I was developed not only as a pharmacist, but also as a totally different personality. The faculty has always focused on motivating students for doing innovative things. The college used to organize seminars by industry professionals on different topics and subjects. Initially, just like any other student did not like to attend seminars that much. But as the time passed, seminars seemed interesting to me. This is because the speakers used share their experiences with us so that we could learn from them. And the topic that were covered in the seminars have helped me to get a clarity about my career. I learned that apart from dispensing medicines, a pharmacist has many different roles to do and hence different career opportunities. In fact, I got the idea of blogging from one of those seminars. Along with seminars, there were other different activities for student development conducted.

If speaking of academics, our professors always tried to make sure that our basics are clear. Furthermore, the assignments that we had were in different forms like seminars, model making, report writing, industry visits and so on. I and my teammates even did a role-play on a seminar topic that was given to us and we were appreciated by our professor Mr. Mukesh Mohite for doing it in a different way. He has always motivated us for thinking in an innovative way. I never thought that I will be able to a role-paly. My point here is that the type of environment we had in our college was very supportive and motivating to us.

This is why choosing your college wisely is important. Because a right college gives you a platform where you could explore yourself and your abilities. My college has played an important role in developing me as the kind of person I am today and I am very thankful for that.

So if you are seeking for admission in a good pharmacy college then you can start your career from Dr. D.Y.Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi. I have given the college details below and if you are interested you can have a look at the website and can contact easily.
